God’s Marriage

³³However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

I know this verse talks to both husbands and wives but guess what…wives this one again is for you. I have to ask you a very bold and invasive question.

Do you respect your husband or do you just allow him to think you do so that you really don’t have to relinquigh control?

It seems that it is becoming an on going trend to just “passify” our husbands into allowing him to think he’s the head of the house. In the mean time we do what we want, spend what we want, plan what we want, and run the house the “right way”. Because of course they are incapable.

Ladies this is dangerous and in the end will not give you the marriage you really want. It may be scary but relinquish the power and slowly watch God change “your” marriage to “His”(God’s) marriage.
