Focus On Your Eternal Rewards (stay motivated part 4)

For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. – 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
The final secret to staying motivated is to focus on your future with Christ. The most powerful motivation is neither internal, nor external, but eternal!
Paul endured incredible problems in his ministry but he called them “light and momentary” because he had an eternal perspective.
Your life is a marathon, not a 40 yard dash. Have you noticed that over the years the “crowd” of the faithful tends to thin out. You see it’s not about how you start out, but how you finish!
