Faith With Lungs
Faith is a tricky thing. Hebrews defines as “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” (11:1) But as humans it is so hard to have a conviction on things not seen or an assurance of things hoped for because we are a society that screams “I’ll believe it when I see it”. Whatever picture the media portrays of life, that’s what we believe life to be.
But having faith isn’t about sucking up what others tell you and believing that to be true. Real faith comes with lungs. It breathes on its own and is fed only by the One who can provide the oxygen it needs to thrive. Real faith is a living faith. Not some false hope with cancer in its sole.
Live your faith with lungs.
Your response is everything.
