Even on Bad Days!
This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. – Psalm 118:24
Do you ever wake up in perpetual “Monday Mode”? You know, you just feel out of it, or maybe like you could have slept for another 4 to 20 hours.
It’s days like this that make living this verse a challenge. “Let us rejoice…” To rejoice means to find joy in. Look around you and find joy in something, anything. Maybe that your car started, or that your children just woke up and stumbled downstairs and gave you a big old hug, or you have a job to go to. Simply take a moment and find the joy!
“Let us…be glad in it” This really doesn’t take much explanation, it simply means that once you’ve found the joy, you don’t let it slip away. Be glad, be thankful, be excited that God has chosen to give you yet another day.
