Don’t Walk…Run!

~ 1 Timothy 6:11
“But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.”
Sometimes we flirt with things that we shouldn’t. We tiptoe quietly behind sin thinking that we are far enough behind that we couldn’t possibly be in any danger. It’s at those times that we are hit squarely in the side by the flaming arrows of Satan’s offense. We must flee those things that could even potentially ensnare us.

A wise man once stated, “Sin will cost you more than you want to pay, it will take you further than you want to go, and it will keep you longer than you want to stay.” God says flee it! Don’t stick around to dip your toe in the waters of sin. Be vigilant, watch for the roaring lion so that you won’t be devoured, flee sin, and pursue Godliness.
