- Jesus didn’t come to crush us or limit us, he came to set us free. His purpose was to give us a rich and satisfying life filled with everything we will ever need, to enjoy every ounce of this world that was made specifically with us in mind, but has been so marred by sin.
- Religion says that God will love us if we change, Jesus says God’s love changes us!
- Religion says these are the things you need to do to connect with God, Jesus says I am all you need to connect with God!
- Religion adds to our load, Jesus lightens and shares our load!
- Jesus didn’t die for religion, he died to restore your relationship with God – He came to set you free to become who God created you to be!

Kids Zone: Take It Home With You!
What We Learned:
Our Big Idea yesterday was “Like the Wise Men, We Need to Seek Jesus!” It’s hard everyday with our busy lives to remember that we need to seek Jesus in all that we do. We want to follow the example of the Wise Men by believing what God says and having faith that it will come true. This week kids were challenged to share the good news of the Bible with their families at Christmas. The best gift we can offer Jesus is ourselves, and telling others about his amazing gift to the world!
In The Car:
Tell your kids what helps you seek Jesus everyday, and not just at Christmas. Use this special holiday season to start reading just a little bit of the Bible as a family everywhere you go! The car is a great place to have kids take turns reading a line or two!
At Bedtime:
Pray over the verses you read about Jesus and Christmas with your kids. Thank God for loving us enough to send his own Son into the world to overcome sin forever! Pray that as your kids grow they would truly seek Jesus with their lives everyday!
