Come To Your Senses
2 Timothy 2:26 (New International Version)
26and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.
I came across this verse in the Bible study I’m currently doing. It stopped me dead in my tracks when I came to the part that says “that they will come to their senses”. I could suddenly picture God with a bull horn saying “WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU DOING?”.
Let’s face it we all need to take a look at our lives and see if we need to “come to our senses.” Are we in anyway allowing Satan to use our lives to bring dishonor to God? Are any of our actions leaving room for Satan to drag us down a path that only leads to defeat?
Even though we are sealed by the blood of the Lamb and Satan cannot inhabit a believer, he sure can use us for his purposes if he gains our cooperation. I sure hope that you are not allowing him to trick you into one of his schemes. Please sit down and really search for any weak spots that you may not have paid notice to. It’s never to late fix anything with God!
