Choose Your Attitude

Our attitude is a choice. When we face a struggle, then praise the Lord!
“My brothers count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith develops patience. But let patience have its perfect works, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” (James 1:2-4)

The most significant decision we can make every day is our choice of attitude. When our attitude is right, there is no challenge too great for us. We cannot allow petty things to destroy our peace. When we are criticized remember what the Word says, “beware when all men speak well of you.” The only way to avoid criticism is to do nothing, say nothing and be nothing. We must choose our attitude early in the day before things have a chance to go wrong.

“I love them that love me and those that seek me early shall find me.” (Proverbs 8:17) Not only does your attitude determine what you can achieve, but it is also contagious. Hope is strangled by discouragement, but joy is poison to discouragement.

Our attitude toward other people will determine other’s attitude toward us. It is like the Lord said, “Do unto others as you would have them to unto you.” Do not let your bad attitude affect your level of success, your relationships or your eternal destiny.

Be the Blessing
