Can I Say It?

2 Timothy 4:7
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

I always wonder if I’ll be able to say this. I see myself when no one else does, and I know the thoughts I have that never come out of my mouth.

Does this ever way heavy on your heart?

The great truth is that God sees our heart. He knows how hard we try to (or try not to) please Him. He is more gracious with us than we are ourselves and He is more forgiving of us than we are ourselves. He tosses are repented sin into the deepest sea. When we feel like a failure, He stands cheering us on fully knowing our true potential. He tells or believes no lies about the person He has created, He sees me (and you) in away we will never comprehend.

Isn’t He wonderful, Beautiful, Almighty God, Prince of Peace, the Great I Am…Isn’t He!
