Broken

It often breaks my heart to look at my own life and realize where I have hurt my relationship with Jesus Christ. Unfortunately some of those times I’m sure have effected others around me to stumble or to doubt my love for Him. At these times I can either allow Satan to continue on his path of destruction or realize that God’s grace is sufficient for even me.

When we realize how wonderful God’s grace is we no longer have to sit and beat ourselves up, or as I sometimes like to do, just wallor in a good ol‘ pity party. However, we need to take a moment and allow ourselves to be broken before our Savior. Confess the sin that has caused the problem and leave it at the feet of Jesus.

So often we like to say “Please forgive me” and move on. But dear one I have to tell you, there is a time for brokenness. Truly sitting at His feet and laying it all out for a good cleansing.
Take the time today and evaluate where you are. Are there things that you need to go back and take care of? Don’t let another day go by…He is waiting for this precious time with you.
