A Mighty Soldier
James 1:6 But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
How many times do we catch ourselves believing and doubting, believing and doubting. I know there have been circumstances in my life that have caused me to waiver back an forth just as James is describing in this verse.
The key ingredients are to make the decision to remain faithful, be diligent in God’s Word, have constant communication with him and remember that anyone who walks away has just lost the battle.
Yes, sometimes it may seem easier to walk away or to doubt but God wants his children to stand strong. How else can we train to be the mighty warriors God has called us to be. I doubt that any military leader would let one of his soldiers just quit or question their faithfulness to his army. Much less I know I wouldn’t want to go into battle with someone who is doubtful or doesn’t have my back. It is the same in the Army of The Lord. He wants mighty soldiers ready to go to the front line!
