A Change In Perspective

This morning I want to encourage you to see yourself in a different way. To look at yourself and try and see what others see when they are around you. To see yourself from their eyes, from the outside looking in. This may sound simple and even perhaps a waste of time but I assure you it’s not.

The purpose of doing this is to gain insight and hopefully a better perspective of not just how we look but how we act. This little exercise can show us things that we are doing that we may not be aware we are even doing! Think about not only what you do but how you do it, what you say and how you say it.  Chances are if you walk through this and force yourself to look at things from another perspective you will learn more about yourself, good and bad.

This can be an invaluable tool for those who learn how to use it and use it frequently. It can allow you to make Godly changes in your life and help cut out bad habits that you may not have been aware of having, as well as increasing the good ones.  This can change what you do and how you do it as well as how you look at others from now on. I encourage you to give this at least one good try. Be honest with yourself, don’t let your pride get in the way of what God has to show you.

Be the Blessing
