Reading for today: Proverbs 5:1-23
OUCH! Now that one hurts doesn’t it? I remember as a kid thinking, “I got away with that one, no one saw me.” My joy and celebration was brought to an abrupt halt one morning during Sunday School when the teacher told us that God sees everything and that he promises, “…be sure your sins will be found out.” On many, many occasions that verse has come true in my life. Somehow and in some way even the most private sins always seem to come bubbling to the surface, and usually at the most inconvenient of times. Takes Solomon’s advice today and gain some discipline in those private areas that ‘nobody knows about’.
